Hallow’s End Event for WoW

Hallow’s End is full of limited-time items such as mounts, pets, cosmetic items, and many more that players can get until November starts.

Spooky season is back once more, and for the folks in World of Warcraft, this means that the Hallow’s End event is upon them once more. With the annual Halloween event set to bring players some brand new TBC items such as mounts, pets, cosmetics, transmogs, and more that can be sold for a lot of WoW TBC gold, there’s a lot to unpack here for those that are considering this year’s Hallow’s End event, especially if it is their first one.

The appeal of Hallow’s End lies in the fact that much of the content within it is only available during the two weeks that it’s active. And of course, nothing gets the community’s interest piqued than having limited-time content! Lore-wise, Hallow’s End can be treated as a celebration of the end of the harvest season, but it’s also a nod to the date when the Forsaken were freed from the control of the evil Lich King: doubly commemorative! So just what can players expect for Hallow’s End in 2021? Let’s find out.

General Overview of Hallow’s End

Hallow’s End in World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic will start from October 18 and last until November 1st in 2021. It’s typical for Azeroth to get all spooky once October starts. Building on the quests and rewards, such as new items that players already saw in Vanilla WoW during the last two years, the Hallow’s End event has a lot of players looking forward to the festivities. The event started in the Vanilla version, but this time around, the Classic and TBC servers will also be celebrating, albeit not to the same degree.

In the Shadowlands version, players can expect to get the full experience, including new achievements, mounts, pets, quests, and other cosmetic items. Then there’s the Shade of the Horseman event, which is a random event, in which players can participate in during the two weeks.

For TBC players, they can expect to also have a run-in with the Headless Horseman. There’s also unique loot to be found from certain high-level monsters, but folks shouldn’t assume that the Hallow’s End for their game is more grandiose, or content-rich, compared to what’s being given out for the Shadowland/Vanilla WoW players.

Meeting the Headless Horseman

One of the biggest draws that Hallow’s End has going for it is the Headless Horseman and all the loot killing him offers to players. So long as they are level 65 or above, they can do the Headless Horseman quests and even fight the iconic Halloween character in Scarlett Monastery’s Graveyard together with the Head of the Horseman.

Everyone can summon the Headless Horseman once per day, and this stacks accordingly for players that like to party up. For example, if a player is in a party of five, then they can summon the Headless Horseman up to five different times, giving them a better chance to grab rare loot. Some of the loot that the Headless Horseman drops include the Sinister Squashling, the Horseman’s Helm/Blade, Ring of Ghoulish Delight, and The Horseman’s Reigns (arguably the best one) which allows players to summon his mount and is permanent.

Hallow’s End Event for WoW: Stop the Fire!

Of course, it wouldn’t be an event without a few quests. Two different types of quests let players put out fires for Hallow’s End: Fire Brigade Practice and Fire Training, one for the Alliance and Horde factions accordingly. Both quests reward players with candy.

On the flip side, there’s also the “Stop the Fires!” quest which has the chance to drop the Magic Broom mount. The story is that the Headless Horseman is trying to set fires all over Azeroth, so it’s the people’s job to put them all out before their entire in-game world is reduced to ashes. Notably, the Magic Broom mount that players can get in the “Stop the Fires” quest will only stay in their inventory for 14 days which is unfortunate, but hey, it’s a nice way to temporarily look cool and spooky.

Conclusion

And there you have it! That’s pretty much everything we know about the Hallow’s End event for World of Warcraft. There are lots of online games these days that have Halloween events that highlight a bunch of ghostly or spooky-themed cosmetic items, so it’s nice that there’s also that option for the WoW players as well, if they’re itching to get a new event for the game. Plus, having a bunch of new TBC items and quests to farm wow TBC gold is also neat! What do you think of Hallow’s End so far? Let us know down below!
